The organisers of NECLive have announced the first speaker lineup for the 11th Nigerian Entertainment Conference, scheduled for Thursday, 12 November 2026, at Alliance Française de Lagos in Ikoyi. This year’s theme is “Home Advantage: Transforming Local Demand into Global Power.”
Why “home advantage” is a business question
The theme puts a familiar idea—strong local audiences—into a wider commercial conversation. Demand at home can create the foundation for sustainable careers, but it takes coordinated work to turn attention into long-term value: reliable release plans, rights and royalty administration, live opportunities, brand partnerships, distribution, and teams able to serve audiences consistently.
NECLive’s first announcement presents the conference as a meeting point for leaders and practitioners across entertainment and the creative industries.
