Omega S stepped into the professional music world in 2019 with a signature sound characterized by street-smart lyrics and a melodiously deep voice. These, combined with his charismatic performance, have made him a rising force in Ghana’s Afro Dancehall and Afropop scene.
Born Shaibu Mohammed, he hails from Zabzugu in the Northern Region. But he is now rooted in Accra’s Korle Gonno, nurturing a fast-growing and loyal fanbase through a stream of emotionally charged and socially conscious songs. His most notable releases include Legendary, Be Your Superstar, Pressure, and Ghetto Youth.
Omega S lends an unpretentious voice to the everyday youth navigating hustle, heartbreak, and hope. His impact is validated by accolades that include UDS Wa campus Artist of the year (2018), IUCG Artist of the Year (2022) and Top Africa Ghana Music Awards (2022).
